The disclosure of sexual preferences and health status is vital for healthy sexual relationships. This study examined sexual self-disclosure among postgraduate students in Southwestern Nigeria, using a quantitative design. A total of 585 respondents were selected from four universities. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire. The findings revealed the following major disclosure patterns: sexual sensation (X¯ = 2.91), sexual behavior (X¯ = 2.86), and positive sexual affect (X¯ = 2.71) and sexual fantasies (X¯ = 2.51). No significant sex-based differences were observed between groups. Age significantly influenced sexual fantasies and sensations but not behavior or affect. The study concluded that sexual sensations and behaviour were the most disclosed forms of sexual self-disclosure among the respondents.
